Jim Sprick Community Park

Jim Sprick Community Park is managed by the Chinook Pass Community Association and is available to all Nile Valley residents (from the neighboring area only) for day-use (groups of fewer than 25). Call first to make sure the park is not already reserved for other groups (see below).

In order to obtain income to provide improvements to the Park, local groups of larger than 25 people and out-of-the-area groups can rent the park but are required to make reservations, sign a contract outlining use of the Park, and pay a small fee.

In recent years, the Park was been rented for reunions and like events. We do not rent out the park for weddings/receptions. Overnight dry-camping is also available for large groups (no hook-ups are available), but no camping is allowed for the general public. The Park is being kept rustic, although a large covered picnic area with a refrigerator is available, a new playground and an approximately ¼-mile paved walking path has been added, along with showers and flush-toilets.

The park is set in the beautiful Nile Valley on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains.
